Movie Review - Dawn of thr Planet of the Apes

Considering that nearly every adult already knew what would happen in the movie, they did a good job to keep us entertained.  I would have preferred the human survivors not been in San Franscisco, but in a remote deep cave in the Mexican desert.  However, had they done that it would not explain how the humans lost San Fransicsco, nor how the Apes rose to power.  But the graphics were as good as they get.  I will now have to re-watch the prequel to see how the stories connect, as I forgot the first one.

Immigration crisis

On Monday, the president of Mexico signed an agreement with Guatamala ( and supposedly Belize ) that their people can migrate to the U.S. with no worries in Mexico.   All they have to do is fill out a simple form at customs and pay his political machine a small token of money to cover the cost of the program.    He calls this "El Programa Frontera Sur."     The anti-immigration folks are calling it, "The Southern Border Program to Improve Passage."    It seems that Mexico should be doing everything in its power to stop the flow at their southern border.    They clearly are against us on this issue.    Those people will still be bribed and robbed and raped along the way.   This is just a smokescreen for him to secretly move a lot of money to his Swiss bank account.    We need to knock him off, now, not tomorrow.

Related to my Early-Stage-Alzheimer's

I thought I would share my Alzheimer's ideas with you.

I am constantly, as in daily ( if not several times a day ), missplacing important things.

I have a routine that I try to stick to about where I keep my wallet and my keys.   I have 2 key chains, one for door keys and one for car keys.  I keep a hidden key somewhere.   I have 3 wallets and I spread out the cards and money, so that if I lose my wallet, I am not totally screwed.   I never carry my license or credit cards with me in the same wallet, and make an effort not to carry them at all.    I try to never have these things in the same place at any given time.    At night however, I put them in a metal box.   I also have 3 cheap bank accounts and don't put all my money in one account.

I never write checks unless I just have to.     I also never carry a wad of $ 20 dollar bills, but instead just a few $ 10 dollar bills.   That way, if I lose a bill, it is not so bad.   I also use fast-food gift cards.     Even with all this effort, I wasted over an hour today, all stressed out that I lost my main debit card.    My blood-pressure went up, but when I got home, it was in the metal box.    Fortunately, I don't have much money to lose, or I would be in a pickle.

Tomorrow, I am going to see the movie, "Planet of the Apes."    Whenever I go to the movies, I never leave anything of value in my car, and I leave a window open so the theives won't break out the window.   That is easy to do, because my car has little value, except to me.

Tomorrow my car will have 290,000 miles.    It is a 2007 Honda Fit.    I hope my next car is a 2015 Honda Fit.
