Related to my Early-Stage-Alzheimer's

I thought I would share my Alzheimer's ideas with you.

I am constantly, as in daily ( if not several times a day ), missplacing important things.

I have a routine that I try to stick to about where I keep my wallet and my keys.   I have 2 key chains, one for door keys and one for car keys.  I keep a hidden key somewhere.   I have 3 wallets and I spread out the cards and money, so that if I lose my wallet, I am not totally screwed.   I never carry my license or credit cards with me in the same wallet, and make an effort not to carry them at all.    I try to never have these things in the same place at any given time.    At night however, I put them in a metal box.   I also have 3 cheap bank accounts and don't put all my money in one account.

I never write checks unless I just have to.     I also never carry a wad of $ 20 dollar bills, but instead just a few $ 10 dollar bills.   That way, if I lose a bill, it is not so bad.   I also use fast-food gift cards.     Even with all this effort, I wasted over an hour today, all stressed out that I lost my main debit card.    My blood-pressure went up, but when I got home, it was in the metal box.    Fortunately, I don't have much money to lose, or I would be in a pickle.

Tomorrow, I am going to see the movie, "Planet of the Apes."    Whenever I go to the movies, I never leave anything of value in my car, and I leave a window open so the theives won't break out the window.   That is easy to do, because my car has little value, except to me.

Tomorrow my car will have 290,000 miles.    It is a 2007 Honda Fit.    I hope my next car is a 2015 Honda Fit.
